- Bats Day in the Fun Park 2010 event wrap up
Before I get into wrapping up the 2010 Bats Day events, I just want to take this time to acknowledge the staff at this year’s Bats Day in the Fun Park events and the fine job that they all did during the events at the hotel.  I also want to thank all of the staff that helped out during the year in prepping the 2010 events.  Special thanks go out to all of the sponsors, advertisers and support that were involved.  Last but not least I want to thank everyone who attended any part of the 2010 Bats Day events.

This was an amazing year, especially when it was an actual year since the last event and not only 6 months like it was from the 2008 to 2009 event.  The Nightmare before Bats Day Dinner event sold out in record time of one week.  I have never seen any of the events do that.  The rest of the events sold out by the last day that you could buy tickets.
We are going to find a way that we can let more people into the Bats Day Dark Park next year.  There were times when the room for Dark Park seemed a bit light, but according to our numbers we were hitting the max cap of that room.  We just could not sell any more tickets due to the numbers. We are going to see if we can fix this situation for 2011. The Bats Day Black Market was packed and there were a lot of fun things to buy.

There were so many people at Disneyland for the spooky trip.  There were so many little Baby Bats at the Baby Bats meet that I could not even fit in the photo.  The total numbers at the event were about 1100 people at the Castle photo, about 1066 people at the Haunted Mansion photo opt and about 4000 people all day.

We are working on the next event now and hope to have some special things for the 13th event in 2011.

-Passing out flyers at Disneyland is a no no
This year at the spooky trip to Disneyland, we noticed that there were a whole lot of club flyers and marketing materials that were being passed around.  There was so much of it that you could find these items being dropped all over the park.  I need to remind everyone that if Disneyland see you passing this stuff out, you could be asked to leave Disneyland.  Disneyland does not like when you pass out this kind of advertising out inside Disneyland.

Please keep in mind that the Spooky Trip to Disneyland is not supposed to be like when you leave a club night and you have to pass through the line of flyer people.  It is meant to spend the day with like-minded people at the happiest...er gloomiest place on earth with out the cares of the club life.  It is just a day to relax and have fun.  Bats Day in the Fun Park loves that people in this community get to network but there is a time and a place to be able to do this.  We have set up places for you to pass out your flyers and marketing material at this event, during the Bats Day Black Market and Saturday Night time events.  So please leave your flyers at home before coming to Disneyland or you may have your flyers taken away from you and asked to leave Disneyland by the security.  Thank you all for your attention to this matter.

-Photo Preview of 2010 events
We have released some of the photos from the 2010 Bats Day events.  This is just a preview of what is yet to come.  They can be found in the “Photos” section of the Bats Day site. We posted the photos that were taken at the Nightmare before Bats Day, Bats Day Ghoulish Gala and Bats Day Dark Park.  Tour Fiend took these photos. We have also posted some preview photos, of the group photo opts from the Spooky Trip to Disneyland.  We will be posting more photos of the event through out the year.
